The intersect of art and life brings about vivid and unexpected expressions. The Art Room is designed to be the platform, the space that engenders and enables this.

The materials used to create the studio are repurposed on purpose. It is part of our vision of being part of the larger cycle of life, of universe where balance and the constant flow of energy create the right context for art.

The Art Room is in essence a collaborative space for us to explore, discover and enjoy multiple facets of creativity.

The programs are tailored to suit individual levels of skill. So beginner-level students gain the basic skills to get started, while experienced students explore various painting-drawing styles, techniques and subjects.

MINI DOODLERS 

4 to 6 years 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Mon & Thu, Tue & Fri. 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

Toddlers learn art through play and fun projects. Nurturing imagination and spontaneity is our focus here. The sessions are all about exploration and discovery where curiosity is treasured and kids explore the process of art making through hands on projects and sensory activities.

Mini doodlers gleefully create their messy masterpieces using a wide variety of exciting materials. Giving them a chance to explore and discover colors shapes, forms and textures. Printing, painting, sticking, storyboarding, and getting their hands dirty with clay are some of the fun things they do in class.

JUNIORS

7 to 10 years. Tue & Fri: 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Sat & Sun: 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Young artists

10 to 13 years. Mon & Thu: 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Sat & Sun: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Exploring ideas, forms, colors, textures to nurture creativity and self-expression through fun activities is the focus here. Sessions are a mix of skill and craft based activities to keep our juniors involved and excited in the process of art-making.

The sessions integrate creativity and visual art skills where students will identify diverse mediums and experiment with new techniques. The Program will introduce them to different aspects of drawing and painting such as: line, tone, texture, understanding proportion, value of space, introduction to perspective, shading and rendering, watercolour, gouache and acrylics, composition and story building, printing, collage, assemblage and loads of fun projects exploring famous artists and their works. 

ART APPRENTICE

13 years & above 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Mon & Thu.

This program will cover all fundamentals of drawing and paintingtechniques however the focus here will be the creative practice in art. It is tailored according to the level and interest of each student, encouraging them to develop their own language of creative expression.

Project based works, Discussions and critical analysis contribute a great deal to the students learning practice.  Art History, studying old masters and modernists and an introduction to contemporary Art practices, expand the creative potential of our students and enhance their art making skills.

The Art Room is spread over 4200 Sq.ft of indoor and outdoor studio space and has a fully equipped Ceramic Studio, with a kiln. It is located close to Huda City Center Metro Station. There is a dedicated team of  experienced facilitators for the various programs.
